Erosion Control is a dynamic, responsive and ever-changing industry in Texas. Our staff continues to stay abreast of evolving regulations and available resources in construction phase water quality controls. These controls prevent and limit the amount of sediment and other pollutants that would otherwise wash off disturbed soils during and after construction, or prevent such runoff altogether. And don’t be shy about leveraging our collective knowledge for special project consulting and troubleshooting—we’re never more than a phone call away!

Some of the devices we build before and during a construction project include:

  • Silt Fence – Normally used along the perimeter of disturbed soil. Should be designed to “sheet flow” through the device, allowing water to run off and catch sediment onsite
  • Rock Berm – Used in high flow areas where concentrated flows of sediment-laden water can be filtered
  • Filter Dikes – Typically needed on asphalt and concrete surfaces during the demolition phase of existing developed property
  • Inlet Protection – Storm drains—both curb inlets and drop inlet structures—can be effectively managed to prevent sediment and other contaminants from entering the storm water system.
